In-Person Warm Data Host Training 23-29th Sept 2024 in Berkeley, CA
Come experience a new way to understand the world and contend with the challenges the civilisations of today are facing.
This training will certify all participants as a Warm Data Host.
After this in-person training, there are two additional 3-hour booster sessions to run through the practicalities of running the People Need People Online sessions. These are optional yet recommended!
There is also the opportunity to take part in a post training practicum series that takes place once-twice per month for three months after the training.

When:
The training will take place 9am-5pm each day Monday - Sunday
Tea and coffee will be provided, participants can organise their own food at the many fun spots surrounding the Center.
All participants must attend every training day to be certified as a Warm Data & People Need People Host.
Course Fee:
The course fees are as follows:
$2,800 - Organizational / Supporter rate — The additional funds will allow us to offer more scholarship rates.
$2,300 - Individual / Non-profit Organizational rate
$1,150 - Scholarship rate
Note: A limited number of Scholarships are available at the discretion of the organizing team. If you intend to apply for a scholarship, please provide information to support your scholarship in your application.
Just note that we are a not-for-profit organisation, so there is limited abundance and everything we have is being paid forward. All of our operational expenses are covered by donations and grants. As a general rule, we don't charge for Warm Data Labs; again, the costs of our public-facing work are primarily covered by donations/grants.
We are grateful to have people joining the course who can pay what we ask for and those willing and able to pay more. Our Organisational / Supporter rate will allow us to offer additional sponsorship places to those who otherwise would not be able to attend. Your generosity is appreciated.

““Warm Data brings an entirely new approach to change tending to an unseen coalescence that is ungraspable - in a culture in which change is entangled into an eagerness to grasp, define, analyze and take action. When change is sought through adaptation to existing systems, that change is sourced from the system itself. In this case, perpetuation is more likely than change. In the Warm Data processes, participants are given a structure to re-stitch, to re-wild, to begin a new abductive process into these gaps. The changes I witness occurring in the Warm Data processes are completely unpredictable and profound. They suggest ever more vividly that there is a real, if unseen, mingling of the body, culture, education, family - and a whole batch of transcontextual experience that is guiding all other actions.
